Sarah was also involved in volleyball this year! She was the manager for the Bomber's freshman volleyball team. It was TONS of hours of work, but she enjoyed getting to know the girls on the team and traveling with them. Sarah kept score at all the games and helped at practice. The coaches really appreciated her, and she made some good friends in the process! I don't think she will do it again, though...practice went until 5:30 every night, and games were even later! She didn't really have a life outside of volleyball! But it WAS fun...

Wildcats Volleyball
Megan played volleyball on the Enterprise Middle School 7th grade B-team this year. She had a great time, and got pretty good throughout the season! They had practice after school every day and games twice a week. The schedule was crazy, but it was great to be busy!! I really loved getting to go watch her games!!

Final Days
Dare I say that the house is done?? I'm not so sure because we are going to walk through one more time before we close Monday the 14th, but I'm thinking we're there! It's been a long road, but it turned out GREAT and we are so excited to be moving into our own place! The photos are a close up of the floor in main floor, bonus room (all bedrooms look like this), girls bathroom, master bath, kitchen!
We started putting in the sprinkler system last weekend, and it has been lots of long days and evenings to get it close to done. We are going to hydroseed with our neighbors behind us and they had a head start. We are hurrying and hope to have everything ready to go next week!!

This Week's Update
We're counting down to the end of this building adventure!! They have been working on floors and final stuff outside over the last few weeks. The wood floor is the entryway through the kitchen and extra hallway downstairs (its distressed on purpose, but dirty cause they were still working on it). The kitchen cabinets, tile, granite, etc are almost done and so is the floor/counters of the bathrooms! They just built up the pillars outside so they haven't been painted yet (I think they forgot to do them originally and I reminded them to build them up:) We are planning to close on June 7th then start moving in on the last day of school, June 11th!!

Moving Right Along!!
More pictures of the house...they installed kitchen cabinets yesterday and now they are painting the exterior today! (Sarah with half of the kitchen) We are going to try to start working on the sprinklers in the next couple of weeks so we can get the lawn in as soon as we move in. Closing is set for the week of June 7th...so we are planning to move that weekend on the 11th or 12th of June!! Just over a month away - WOO HOO!!

House Update...
So we are moving right along on the house! We put in a little bit of insulation ourselves the other day, and now they have sheetrocked the whole thing! They have also gotten most of the siding done, except for the front. This is the back of the house - we are excited about the huge covered patio...and then the interior shot is part of the family room. Whooppee!!

We Have Officially "Broken Ground!"
I can't believe it - we have finally, as of today, broken ground for our house!! I was starting to think that it wouldn't happen...but here's the photo to prove it! I stopped by the lot before picking up Sarah from school, and just had to sit and watch for a few minutes. Very exciting!! Now, they say that it will be 4 months from ground-breaking until the house is done. That means late June/early July...which is just in time for us to be out of town for girls camp, Tingey family reunion & Twin Lakes! We'll fit in moving somewhere... Woo Hoo!!

Sarah's Birthday
Well, Sarah is officially 14 years old now! I can't believe I'm old enough to have a kid who can go to dances...pretty crazy! She had a wonderful birthday with good friends. The Richland School District gave her (and the rest of the kids) the day off. She took her bud Courtney to Macy's with her and they both got skin care lessons and makeovers. Then we went met Mollie & Connie for lunch. Then her new Mia Maid class came and kidnapped her to welcome her into their class. She said it was the best birthday ever!
